When we turn to God for guidance, prayer unites us, gives us peace, and indeed, works for good.
From October 27 through November 3 we will have a round-the-clock prayer vigil. Those days on the Church calendar include All Saint's Day, All Soul's Day and, of course, election day. Each day individuals, groups, and/or families are asked to identify and commit to an hour in which they will be prayerful. You might pray, read your Bible, sing praises, meditate, or be in prayful communication with others during that hour.
This will be a joint effort as we link arms with St. Francis Episcopal Church in Potomac and some members of the wider church. Below is the link to choose a time and date. If you know someone who would be interested please invite them to participate, too.
